Mar 20, 2021
Rating — 3.5/5
Women don’t owe you pretty is an amazing introduction to intersectional feminism, the male gaze, and personal empowerment.
Florence Given’s art throughout this book adds a fantastic and engaging personal touch.
If you are new to feminist theory, I think this is a great place to start as it is a brief and clear introduction, but if you are familiar with the genre and theories — it may be worth skipping and just checking out Florence's social media to enjoy her art and ideas.
